PII On CHi||R Sunday

PII will be on Chiller 2 times Sunday the 13th....I think its 9:00AM & 3:00PM

Too bad I don't get that channel. Otherwise I would've watched it. But oh well, I could always pop in the DVD. I don't know how, but my brother got a ripped dvd of it. To me, it looks like the VHS quality, like someone recorded it with a camera, while playing it on the screen. But still, excellent quality.

Better than nothing though Nat. All I have is my workprint version and its black and white and grainy but it does have the extra scenes in it.

I watch part of the 2ed showing after I got back from He||boy. Aftet that He||boy 1 came on....cool!

PII is floating around Google Video somewhere. I saw and looked like the same quality as my DVD. I'm thinking it was ripped from that. But where and how the video on Google came about, I don't know.

I just want to tell you that Phantasm II will be on Chiller again on Halloween day. IO Digital says it will start at 10am but the Chiller schedule says it will start at 9am. So, I'm not sure which is the correct time.

Thanks. You’re right, IO says 10am. I’ll record it on my DVR. Even though I have the DVD and VHS. I guess I can never get enough of Phantasm. I wish they would have a marathon. They always have the Rocky marathons, Planet of the Apes and even the Brady Bunch. Why not a Phantasm Marathon for their 30th Anniversary. I used to have the Monsters HD channel and saw Phantasm II uncut on that channel. But they took that channel away and replaced it with Chiller.

You guys, the Chiller schedule was right. Phantasm II starts (or started) at 9am! I'm sorry I didn't tell you this sooner, but I woke up at 9:45am (New Jersey time). You can still catch it though if you hurry (then again, you have the DVD, but still.).

I kid, I kid. Seriously, it's great you manage to DVR it in time. The one thing that's good about the TV Cut is that it includes the alternate scenes with Alchemy wearing her robe when she and Reg go up to bed and in the bedroom. Definately a rarity/treat for the phans. Again, it's great you DVR it for yourself.

It's all my brother's fault. He is the one that turned me on to the Tall Man and Phantasm. I can never get enough...I like the TV version too.

I didn't see the TV Cut in a long time. I never noticed that when she was running up the stairs. The bed & breakfast is one of my favorite scenes. I have a TV version from 1994 and they cut out alot more scenes than they did yesterday.

I remember when part 2 was coming out a bunch of us got together and had a Phantasm viewing party the night before it was released. Unfortunately 3 and 4 did hit the theaters here.
